Dr S C Khurana has more than 35 years of experience in framing of standards and certification of agricultural commodities and processed products. He is a certified ISO 9000, HACCP and ISO 22000 Auditor and Evaluation Committee Member for evaluation of Certification Bodies under National Programme for Organic Production.
He has participated and made presentations in various national and international Workshops/Seminars relating to Standardization and Certification, Food Safety, WTO Agreements etc. He has represented the country in various Sessions of Codex Committees relating to Spices and Culinary Herbs, Fruits and Vegetables, Food Hygiene etc. At present, he is Consultant with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Dr Khurana is M.Sc, Ph.D in Chemistry and also holds Diploma in Management.
