Georgie Ferreira was born and raised in Tanzania with a family background in farming and holds excellent knowledge of the Tanzanian spice and commodity export market .He is currently the managing partner of Agri-ventures Tanzania ltd a company that is now the largest exporter of spices in Tanzania within a short period of time. Currently working with over 2500 conventional farmers and 250 organically certified farmers the future is bright as the industry grows. He is also an honored vice president of Tanzania spices association, which through a dedicated board and the international trade centre has helped revolutionize the Tanzanian cinnamon industry as well as other spices found in Tanzania. The association grows in numbers every day with a very proactive approach from all members including farmers, producers and exporters.
