Oli Keetch Heads the Strategy, Corporate and Global Partnership Teams for the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) in India. Oli’s Team works in partnership with India to deliver the Global Goals in other developing countries, focusing on development assistance, trade and investment, and innovation and technology transfer.

Prior to moving to India in 2017 Oli worked on the UK’s response to the Syrian Civil War; setting up new DFID Country offices in Jordan and Lebanon and major new humanitarian, education and economic development programmes.

Among a number of roles, Oli has previously worked in the UK Government as Deputy Head of DFID’s International Financial Institutions Department; leading work on the IMF’s role in low income countries and debt relief. He spent over two years in Burma/Myanmar heading DFID’s Programme Team there. He also served a stint as Private Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff.

Oli holds a BA Hons in International Relations from Keele University.
