An Indian meal is incomplete without that extra dash of spice. So is ISC. International Spice Conference 2019 is a package of diverse experiences – business, learning and loads of fun. The Conference includes a tour of the amazing locations and exotic spice gardens of Warangal in Telangana. The 13th Century Fort, the 12th century Thousand Pillar Temple and the 7th century Bhadrakali Temple set on a lake reflect the heritage of the state. Warangal Chilli Market is the second largest grain market in Asia and is a huge trade centre for red chillies. The 10,000-acre Laknavaram Lake, with its 13 islands and ferry facilities, a hanging bridge and a viewing tower, is a much-sought-after tourist destination.
Day 1 – February 1st, 2019: The delegates will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast for a trip to Warangal. After the two-hour journey and some refreshments, you will be taken for a tour of the chilli-growing fields and training centres. You will reach back in Warangal in time for lunch and rest. Around 4 in the evening you will be taken on a visit to the Thousand Pillar Temple. After a sight-seeing tour of the architectural wonders of the temple, you will retire to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 2 – February 2nd, 2019: You will be picked up from the hotel at 8.00 in the morning for a tour of the Chilli Market. The tour also includes a visit to the cold storage where you can interact directly with the personnel on their process of keeping the chillies fresh. From here, you will be taken to the famous Laknavaram Lake. After enjoying the sights and activities at the Lake, you will return to Hyderabad, stopping for lunch en route.
