Swani Spice, a family owned enterprise, owes its legacy to Swani Corporation Est in 1956 & Parent company Surn Singh Lachman Singh est. in 1864. The Swani Group celebrated its years (150 years) in 2014. The firm mantra at the Swani’s since inception has been consistent adherence to Vintage Values, Tomorrow's Technology & Global Presence.

Swani sustainable Journey started back in 2006 from the state of Rajasthan with a single spice of Cumin Seeds. Initial efforts targeted at farming without pesticides and re-enrichment of the soil.

More than a decade later, we are proud to announce that Swani has the following products Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Chilly, Turmeric Fingers, Coriander Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Psyllium Seeds and Gingerunder Sustainable (Rain Forest Alliance)and Organic Farming, Monitored and Certified across states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh amongst others.

The lapse of Good Agricultural Practices that have been taken for granted in an age of instant quick fixes, is just one of the areas that are being focused on in this program. Keeping in mind the ever increasing in-put costs to the farmer; simple, small and relativelyinexpensive solutions for soil enrichment with the target to increase yields.

Further expansion of products and tonnage is an on - going process. Watch this space for rapid expansion and exciting diversification in the coming seasons.

Spread across 3 units & built across 75,000 sq. feet Swani is equipped with the state-of-the-art processing facilities with a combined annual Capacity of 60,000 mts.

A Professional& Technical team members who are the support and backbone of the facility, which comprises off :-

  • Seeds Cleaning Plant with a latest A+ Sortex.
  • 2 Buhler MillingLines & 1 MicronizerMill each of which are independent temperature controlled & monitored milling sections with their own blending capabilities.
  • Dedicated Kibbling Line for Crushed, Kibbled and customer specific cut size requirements for Chilies/Cayenne Pepper, and Herbs equipped with a Buhler E1C,AflatoxinSorter prior to Kibbling.
  • Roasting Sections for customized roasting & drying process
  • Buhler’s Global Prototype for Steam Sterilization of Spices - a seamless marriage between the continuous and batch systems. An automated & validated system is housed at Swani newest facility.
  • Packaging - from Private Labelling for retail, vacuum packs, industry service packing, jumbo bag packing, bale packing are all options available in house.
  • NABL/ISO 17025 accredited testing LAB run by a trained and qualified team equipped with the latest in testing equipments. Currently the Lab is able to test for testing of Aflatoxins, Ochratoxin, Curcumin, ASTA, SHU amongst other tests.
  • Two complete Micro Labs are set up for handling and testing Sterile and Untreated samples accordingly.

R&D / NPD division for product conceptualization, development, trials and commercialization of customized blends have been established and are currently servicing our client base.
