Mr. Lee is currently the President and Chief Operating Office for the BCFoods group of companies. He holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the California State University at Chico where he graduated 3rd in his class. Prior to completing his formal education, he lived in Taiwan for 2 years. While there he performed voluntary service,during which timehe attained conversational fluency in Mandarin Chinese.

After graduation he worked for 6 years in semiconductor manufacturing, firstas a process engineer and later becoming the production control manager over a newly constructed wafer fabrication facility.

Desiring to get closer to his roots he left this position and returned to his hometown to work in the TQM group for a large California based vegetable dehydration company doing strategic planning. He subsequently became their Director of IT and worked for 8 years in this role after which he was relocated to China for 3 years where he served as GM for their China dehydration facility.

After returning to the US he was asked to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana in order to take on the GM responsibility for the company’s US based Bio-Ingredients businessand then later their US based Flavor’s business both of which were headquartered in Indianapolis. After residing there for a period of 3 years, the group of businesses were relocated to the Chicago area. At this point, instead of moving to Chicago, and after 19 years with the same company,Mr. Lee decided to make a change in employment.

In 2013, returning to his home state of California, he came to work for BCFoodsas GM for their NA operations and subsequently has taken on the role of President & COO for the company.
