Mr. Ashwin Shah is a man of few words with a sharp business acumen. As Group Chairman he has steered the fortunes of Jayanti, through thick and thin for more than 5 decades now and simultaneously raised a family of entrepreneurs. His siblings have independent businesses and family members hold key portfolios within the Group. Jayanti today is a family-owned, professionally managed agro-commodities and food business group with sourcing, processing and packaging base in India and Turkey: the epicenter of Herbs & Spice industry besides a EuropeCentric trading office in Switzerland.

Jayanti is also the pioneer manufacturer-exporter of Decaffeinated Tea and Natural Caffeine from India. Mr. Ashwin Shah is well known for his innovative leadership style that has helped Jayanti achieve many milestones in a short span from being a Coffee and Tea Specialist to a Herbs & Spice Specialist. A keen visionary and a tough taskmaster, he has worked relentlessly for setting up state-of-the-art facilities closer to sourcing centers for providing an enriching experience to customers worldwide through farm-to-fork quality management.

He is also a philanthropist at heart and is actively supporting projects on disaster management, rural children education and elderly care through Jayanti family charitable trusts.
